Dear /lit/

I am a humble neighbor from the faraway land of /k/, but I also enjoy writing on the side. I have come this long way from home today to ask for advice pertaining to how one combats the dreaded writer's block; whenever I am plagued so unjustly, I am down for the count until something inspirational pops up while I masturbate at work. In 4chan terms: wat do /lit/?

In return, I will answer questions concerning firearms and military history, anything you would be afraid of to ask on /k/ due to a recently acknowledged troll-or-be-trolled environment, and will post tits for excellent suggestions.

Sincerely,
your friendly neighborhood /k/ommando

It depends on what you want to write? In general, taking a break and not forcing yourself to write helps, if you're not on a deadline of course.
If it's prose, I find listening to various music and letting your thoughts roam free helps. Film music is best.

Welp, in return, tell me how to sharpen a knife well? I have purchased an old, beautiful dagger and don't want to ruin it.

Sounds like you just need to masturbate more, OP.

Tell me more about this old knife, because you have to be careful with them, depending on A) their current condition, B) their planned usage (you don't need to maintain a wall hanger as well as you do a Bowie knife for Civil War reenactments), and C) their material.

Thanks It is old, but no more than, hm, 70 years old, probably less. I intend to take it camping and slice thing like apples and steaks and file fish with it, maybe sharpening a stick to roast a sausage too.

Is there something wrong with that?

>> No.1182816

recently inherited a variety of firearms and ammunition from my grandfather that i put into storage.

2x 12 gauge shotguns
1x Air rifle
3x .22 rifle
1x 410 shotgun
1x Colt 45
1x .303 rifle

I don't know alot about weaponry, i have used all of these guns before, but i dont have use or purpose for any of them now. I'd like to keep one just for the hell of it, but how can i go about selling them? I have alot of ammunition and magazines as well..

anything more specific? "Colt 45" doesn't give me much to go off of, because Colt makes many models that chamber the .45 ACP cartridge. If not, go to armslist.com (basically the craigslist of guns) and post everything you know about them on separate pages, you don't want to clutter everything into one page listed as "LARGE INHERITANCE SALE", especially with a three picture max. If you give me or anyone on /k/ more details, we can show you the way.
