Can we start a Christopher Hitchens thread please?

No because we discuss literature here, not blowhard polemics.

He thinks he's Orwell but he's really Conor Cruise O'Brien.

If you read the three different essays that Hitchens published on O'Brien in the 70s, the 80s, and the 90s, you'll know what I mean by that.

After reading God is Not Great, then his older stuff, his older work is really much better. The atheist bandwagon is ok and everything, he has a pretty novel way of getting the idea across, but his understanding of current events is more interesting to read about. The Mother Teresa book is awesome.
