this really struck me once I experienced stress-induced ego death. intelligence is really separated from libido and suddenly I understood that they have nothing in common. it's a pocket calculator in your brain that allows you to dominate other people. intelligence is something entirely new and it's literally the nuclear weapon in an evolutionary arms race that can only end with the extinction of the human race
