There is no one person controls prices on Amazon. Amazon doesn't even control prices aside from small automated adjustments that are based on spikes in traffic. You're buying from independent bookstores which are competing with one another. The reason prices fluctuate is because of supply and demand.

The copy of that book on Libgen is busted. You can find a working one on #bookz.
