Does anyone else here struggle to make contributions to discussions on literature in settings like university tutorials?

I think it's fair to say that I am engaging with the discussion in that I am processing the views expressed, but I am certainly not making any contribution of my own. While I have views on most subjects of literature, I can not get past the fact that I am but a lowly undergraduate, and have no exceptional experience in the field I'm going to make a claim in. It seems as though there are some people who have an opinion on every kind of literature and topic, how does one become more like this?
