honest question /lit/, at what age did you start growing out of atheism?

for me it was when I was 19 and read St. Augustine's Confessions which got me into Plato and eventually like 2-3 years later I read Timaeus

When 4chan started with the fedora meme. Didnt want to be perceived as reddit or leftist scum, so I've pretended to be a virtuous Christian ever since. Of course, most of my activity on this site revolves around calling for the genocide of jews and niggers and getting women back in the kitchen, but there you go

I was raised by devout catholics and it took me 17 years to become an atheist
Once I was done with my edgy le science phase I didn't go back to religion, but I find myself much more interested in religious thought

It was the opposite for me.
I grew up in a "traditional" household in a highly religious country, so I didn't become atheist until around 21.

I was a very devout Catholic until I was 14 or 15. I spent a few years as a militant atheist and then became agnostic until I was 21, when I took a theology class at university as an elective and found a new appreciation for religion

for me it was also around 19. I was reading a lot of 19th century pop indology, but what really sealed the deal was reading Tolstoy's My Confession My Religion and then his Gospel in Brief. I didn't become a Christian, but I did realize what doofuses Dawkins and his little buddies are

I deconverted from Catholicism when I was 18, maybe there is something more to this trend of abandoning your former beliefs when you come of age.

>> No.11804790

I was Christan at 10 l, atheists between 10-20, then in started to read about solipsism and became agnostic.

I guess it's the realization to not always assume the negative.
