Has anybody else read this? Trying to view this from a fairly objective and historical perspective, most of what he says seems fair; I can see myself reacting the same way in his situation. The only part I really take issue with is (Q2)(1). Here's the link to the full text:

It's hard to disagree with a lot of it desu, but I think he overestimated the impact of terrorism in achieving his goals. 9/11 gave USA the impetus to attack Iraq, completely devastating the country. More recently, terrorist attacks in Europe and the USA have been used as justification to increase western intervention in Syria (supposedly just to destroy ISIS). The Middle East is more fragmented and dangerous than ever, and a large part of that is because of how western governments have responded to terrorist attacks and terrorist organisations. I appreciate the terrorists will only ever be able to fight guerrilla wars against the might of the US and their allies, but deliberately targeting civilians seems tactically inept.

That's why it wouldn't surprise me at all if western intelligence agencies allow these attacks to happen. It's clear that (((certain people))) are determined to remove Assad whatever it takes, so if there's some intelligence that a terrorist attack is upcoming, why not allow it to happen?
