What is some good book about dystopian/utopian society that has a strong science theme. Like manufactured humans (already read Brave New World), humans living as some short of machine hybrids or such. If there isn't such a book, any good suggestion of a book that deals with transhumanism will do.

As far as the transhumanist theme is concerned, I’m not sure if this ticks the box for you, but We by Yevgeny Zamyatin is a great dystopian novel that predates brave new world and 1984. I would imagine Asimov has books that fill that criteria, but I’ve personally only read The Gods Themselves. Some might argue that counts as utopia/dystopia

wouldn't the transhumanist have a broader range of 'functionality' and therefore arguably superhuman, or more human?
