So is Object Oriented Ontology really that groundbreaking? Seems like the new thing in continental philosophy...so I’m told.

From wikipedia, the subject looks interesting. I have always suspected that disciplines like phenomenology should not start with the human subject, because by starting thus you will never reach the outside world. Rather, you should start with something a little less certain but that will allow you to reach more.

Good article debunking OOO as bad philosophy written by dilettantes. I'd bet money that people who think they are adherents of OOO can't even understand this article in order to appreciate the critique, which goes a long way to show who is really backing this trash.

What the fuck happened to phenomenology? Sometimes they release papers literally about the philosophy of the asshole and now they're trying their hardest to mimic daddy(analytic philosophy). What a fucking shitshow.
