He's not a philosopher, but he's a competent popularizer. I would compare him to someone like Stephen Law or Nigel Warburton. He's good at what he does and it's nice that he talks about topics many people are afraid of and yet are supported by actual science, such as all of that IQ stuff and the true history of Mandela.

Molyneux is a narcissist incapable of argument. You cannot argue against him, because his arguments follow from UPB, which you need to accept to be able to make an argument in the first place. Also, when you refute his arguments you're hurting his feels which makes you a bad person which means everything you state can be discarded.

His logical inconsistencies are frequent, there's nothing evolutionary about UPB, he bulldozes (or usually just avoids) intelligent opposition, shies away from logical and factual nitty-gritty-. It's pretty obvious he has a business model and is trying to appeal to the largest audience possible while maintaining a facade of intellectual honesty.

Is he a great intellectual? No. But as anon noted, he does work that needs to be done and exposes people to suppressed information. So, he is an important intellectual.
