What is it that makes houllebecqs writings incel lit? The author is not celibate. His writings have nothing to do with celibacy. They have a lot to do with the sexual impulse, sexual frustration, and the dangers of oversaturating your life with sex. But nowhere have I encountered anything that could be construed as advocating, soap boxing, defending, or even acknoledging, incelibacy.

So it’s curious you have decided to name houllebecq as your voice. Because he knows nothing of your plight. He knows what can become of a man when women ignore him for decades. But he’s not writing about that, per se.
