Why did he dislike gays?
Say that gays were possessed by the anima, why is this necessarily a bad thing cant the man become the anima and still balance his masculinity in a healthy way

>Says that gays were possessed by the anima

He never says that this is wrong. Just that it's atypical.

he said men who chose male partners suffered from a mother-complex and that that stifled masculine development and if a women become possessed by animus then she because irritating and opinionated.

The male become a man was a sacred rite of passage for jung and extends to all pre christian civilizations.

Okay, but how is this different than any characterization of homosexuality at that time? Even Freud was way worse.

he said they were acting out contrasexual elements and had not achieved healthy integration of anima and logos. made it clear for men to not identify anima as his essential nature and that masculinity should be his main identity

Well, be that as it may, he was clearly wrong. There are plenty of faggots who present as strongly masculine, and identify as such.

its not different, its actually quite revolutionary, to say men should incorporate feminine aspects and that man and women possessed both genders. But I just dont see why a man not fully integrate himself and be a homosexual. y'know what, maybe he is right and my cultural background is creating a problem where there isnt one

I have a mother complex and am bi sexual so i think he might be right

I think this is a huge misreading. I'm not sure I'd go as far as to posit that he's denouncing the Anima categorically; if anything he's illustrating a point about the interwoven nature of the genders

he iterates the point that the first step of putting his elaborate theory into practical use is to forget it all

Jung literally said this was NOT a bad thing, and even that homosexuals were more predisposed to become artists because of their heightened connection to the Anima. Learn to read, gaylord.
