We're a lot of people on here who appreciate what the Germans tried to do. We believe in a white nation state with women back in the kitchen.

Can someone who hasn't read much about WWII/the holocaust understand most of this?

It's a pretty easy read imo compared to other history books.
It starts off with Hitler's origins and goes on from there gradually with his rise to power, Nazi Germany at it's peak, prelude to WW2 and of course it concludes with WW2 and how everything Hitler built turned to shit and got destroyed around him as he sits in his bunker and goes on long rants, completely delusional and out of any sense of reality.

You don't even have to read about Nazi history to start hating G*rmoids.

The book takes the confessions at the neurenberg trials as fact and presents claims which is still doubtful whether it happened or not as fact. it is a shitty novel and I threw it out as soon as I was done with it. read a better history book.

You should check out "The History of Nazi Indology," by Vishwa Adluri. He's a scholar of Sanskrit and essentially demonstrates how much of Nazi ideology grew out of poor scholarship. Here's a short essay by him http://www.presocratics.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/German_Indology_Aryanism_and_Anti-Semiti.pdf

nazi germany is pretty interesting, if only that it foreshadows the importance of art and aesthetics in the political sphere that emerges in the later 20th and then 21st centuries. art is not some unnecessary thing people waste their time on. its literally the most important thing. the only "real" thing in society

Too bad nazi art in culture was absolute dogshit that people would rather flock to see the so called """degenerate""" art in Goebbels propaganda exhibitions

what the art actually looks like isn't really all that important. its all about the meaning you pour into it.

>> No.11685278

certainly art. i tihnk most people here would agree that drama and theatre are artforms and those have had a whole lot of influence in how the power structure of any country now manages it's population.

i would also add that hitler really was a great artist. his painting skills were maybe lacking but he was like 17. he had a real gift for theatrical performance and spectacle. everything from the flag, the uniforms, how the soldiers marched, the music, the arrangement of the crowd, and of course his speech patterns were conscious artistic choices hitler made. and people totally lost their shit over it.

he really was a great artist, his main work being nazi germany. a grand installation of european imperialism and brutality into europe itself.

this of course being totally agnostic to his motives and what he actually believed.

aesthetics is only analyzation of art and what makes it so important. art is the actual force.

>> No.11685339

Which is exactly why nazi art failed to impress people. It's just boring and bland bastardization of classicism, while the so called "degenerate art" were various impressionism and expressionism movements that were more interesting to see for people at that time.
