if you wanna write, you gotta suck it up and start being disciplined. at the same time every day (preferably right when you wake up/after your morning routine), force yourself to write. start at five minutes. it’s going to be hell. work your way up. i believe in you anon.

I can write pretty fast when I want to, it's just that hanging out on 4chan - getting involved in all this trolling, arguing, raging, and drama bullshit - melts my brain and makes it next to impossible to focus on getting shit done.

I hang out on 4chan on-and-off: whenever I get some reason to drop by and ask someone about something, on whatever board, I come over and then I end up picking up a few other threads to talk into, and it usually cascades until I spend several weeks hanging out here.

At those weeks whenever I do hang out here, follow all those threads and get involved in stuff, I really legitimately can't focus on writing shit. At the times when I'm *not* here, I can breeze through thousands of words every single day.

You have an entirely opposite experience, perhaps, but it really is pretty much certified that in my case this place is poison to my mind.
