be a good, disciplined and nice man, but also have a 'dark' side to your character for when the time comes to test your will. don't underestimate taking care of your mental and physical condition, meditate, sober up if you have to, stop faping, eat healthy.

strive to make yourself and people around you a better person, work towards becoming a master in whatever field you are working/studying and then contribute more to the field with your own character and creativity.

have kids, reproduce and love when you are financially stable and will be able to take care of family.

multiculturalism doesn't work.
women have it easier.
man must struggle through life, since struggle makes a man happy (but only if he struggles with something he loves to do).
criticize, but also take criticism.
surround yourself with good people that make your life richer.

Learn about history, literature, math, programming, economy, trading, how to debate, politics, finance, how to build a house, how to fix a car, how to run a company..

Pretty much learn everything around you and its history, while being a good man.

I was reading Beiser's Diotima's Children recently and he argues that the rationalists' conception of truth wasn't an arid lifeless correspondence theory lacking in Dionysian transcendence of the Apollonian, but that they were followers of Eros in Diotima's sense from the Symposium, meaning that truth is discovered through the perpetual "love" of the seeker after truth/wisdom who follows the trail of beauty in nature upward toward the contemplation of higher and higher perfection

I thought it was really interesting because usually truth is conceived in dionysian dualistic transcendent terms, as the thing that shatters the apollonian order. But Beiser was defending an immanent monistic truth. It made me wonder whether I had been wrong about "naive" Goethe vis a vis "sentimental" Schiller et al., all along

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Truth is what these verses allude to. Even without the context of Christianity, such words describe what is perhaps the fundamental truth of existence and the nature of reality.

>> No.11681987

Truth can exist in varying ways. It can be constructed by humans on an individual or collective level, it can also be a specific occurrence which takes place at a certain time or place. Truth is a state of universal or individual validity.
