Read selected parts of the Bible. Do Ecclesiastes, Proverbs, Genesis, Job, the Psalms, and Revelation. Those are the fun parts.

Grab a copy of Pre-Socratic fragments and read a few of them esp. Heraclitus and Parmenides.

Find a copy a Diogenes Laertius' Lives of the Most Eminent Philosophers, and read whatever interests you; if nothing does, just flip through it randomly.
