You claim that behind the door is a man named Bert. You also claim that he talks to you, predestined all things, and that he made us and everything we know.

You don't have any proof of Bert however. I don't hear him speak, and can come up with various other theories as to where you and me and everything in the room came from. Quite simply, the evidence suggests that Bert either doesn't exist or that he has absolutely no effect on existence at all.

The logical stance is that Bert is totally unimportant, and probably doesn't exist.
