Sci books I have read so far:

>Brave new world
Horrible prose, plot has no point, vastly overrated

>Stranger in a strange land
Pure gold. BOTYAY

>Hitchhiker's 5-book trilogy
First one was god tier. Second felt too forced. The rest just suck balls

>Fountains of Paradise
Great story and setting. Some characters felt unnecessary and out of place though. Ending was epic (why do they call this structure Kalidasa's tower?)

>Rendezvous with Rama
Amazing, loved the mistery.

>Rama II
Shit nigger what are you doing!? Frivolous drama. Minimal sci, shitty story overall.

>The Forever War
Nice story, memorable characters, loved it

>Forever Peace
WTF Man is this story going anywhere? Could you possibly make it more cryptic?

>City of Pearl
Feminists in space, move along, nothing to see here.

I still have to read the Ender Saga and Dune. So far my absolute favorite is Stranger in a Strange Land.

Recommend me moar Epic Sci-Fi, /lit/

This is one of the first books i truly enjoyed, and I feel I need to defend it.
You may not understand the plot, but that is not even the point. Huxley merely makes observations of his current environment, and predicted a future that could be.
Having been written in about 3 decades ago, you have to appreciate how well his predictions has come true.
The genius was not in the writing, but in the imagining

protip: the Arthur C. Clarke books written through the 1980s-2000s with his name in big bold and a co-authors under that - all actually written by the co-author exclusively.
