What is your page preference when it comes to reading a novel?

Personally, I only read books that are AT LEAST 700 pages. Anything shorter is just plebeian.

200 or 1000, nothing inbetween

>> No.1163434

so, what you're saying is, quantity over quality.

which is wrong, by the way.

>> No.1163437

i only read novels with prime-numbered quantities of pages

My two favorite novels are Les Mis (>1400 pages) and The Red Pony (<150 Pages.) Wrap your head around that.

I don't care since the number of pages depends on the size of the text but..

it depends whether I want a light read or to be engaged in the book.

Isn't the answer obvious?

OVER 9000

300 pages in normal sized font is a pretty good sweet spot. Plenty of great books are shorter or longer, but that's a good compromise. It's short enough you can finish it even if it's a crappy book and long enough to be satisfying if it's a good one.

Shorter because there are so many books and it'd be easier if they were all short, but really, I don't care; whatever works for the book.

Awesome album by the way.

Hemingway wrote a beautiful six word short story.

For Sale: Baby shoes, never worn

Quantity over quality is wrong OP, and you're a simpleton if you believe it to be true.

He never wrote that. It's a fictional story from a play about his life.

Every time I listen to this album I feel like I'm the only human alive during a zombie apocalypse.
