Many people kill themselves and many of them write. Just because they aren't published authors doesn't mean they aren't writers. There's probably some folks who've posted on 4chan and ate a bullet for dinner, it isn't some supernatural coincidence, think of all the authors ever published on earth, do you really believe there would be a disproportionate amount of suicides among them? Also, these pictured are intentional suicides I suspect, what about those writers who drank themselves to death? It's all wrapped up in this pseudo-religious mystique of the lives of writers and artists in general, whenever one dies there's some deep significance to it, as though they should live forever, and in fact there probably becomes more interest generated in their work post-mortem then there ever was while they were walking the earth. Stop worshiping, desist fashioning secular saints for yourself. They're people, just human beings like every average asshole you're unfortunate enough to run into at the grocery store, just because they can put a few sentences together doesn't make them Legendary.
