In order to believe you must surely first educate yourself on topics such as: the evil on this planet and how the elite is praying to satan, sacrificing children and taking part in rituals. When you see how they manipulate and use humans, you will surely undestand that there is real evil. And once you get that maybe GOD will bless you.
Reading a book won't help, you must see the reality.

Why do you want to believe in a god made by a reform of the judaism created 2000 years ago in the Roman province of Iudae ? I don't understand.

If you're coming from a complete blank slate, I guess I'd think about starting with CS Lewis' various Christian apologia.

Otherwise (or after), >>11627166 and >>11627171 and >>11627183 are good.

Catholic revert here.
On Guard by William Lane Craig got me back to the faith. It's basically a simplified version of his other book Reasonable Faith.
From there I moved to C.S Lewis, then once you've got those down, you should start with the New Testament if you hadn't already. Before reading scripture, I felt like my faith was only logical and not spitirual/emotional at all. That was fixed with scripture and praying.
