I got into philosophy mainly because I though it would help me appreciate more complicated literature at a higher level. But after having read some pre-socratics, plato, and some contemporary stuff, I'm starting to think I'm just not intelligent enough for philosophy and also don't enjoy it at all, in the sense that I don't really crave understanding the reallity or our society. I don't like spending time in ideas. I only like language used in interesting ways. I thought philosophy was language being used in really interesting ways, but in my experience thats not true.
Philosophy is weird. I can't understand what are those people thinking.
All the ideas I have read in philosophy books seem fake. I just can't belive someone is "right" or "wrong". I don't understand why having the "logica opinionl" is good.
After reading something that makes sense to me, it feels good, but it doesnt take too long before I realize I'm just doing puzzles in my mind which do not contribute anything to me or the people I care about.
I'm fucked.
