Although I sometimes unironically listen to Prodigy - Experience, he'd probably be more interested in Kode9 and the like

Is there a source on this?

Also this might not be the best thread to ask in, but if I need to understand Kant before reading Land, what should I read to understand Kant? I feel like diving into Kant is going to get me nowhere when I've hardly got past 'the greeks'.

>A move to Warwick and collaboration with the Cybernetic Culture Research Unit at University of Warwick studying rave culture, cybernetics, postmodernism and afrofuturism later led to a memetic philosophy regarding music, which he has spoken about at length in interviews.

Kant is big boy philosophy so if your not ready take your time. if you want some background for Kant read Hume, which shouldn't be too hard post-greeks. working your way up to Deleuze is the hard part

Okay thank you so much anon I'm really trying. I'm taking it slow and really trying to understand, but I'm still confused on the order to work myself up to Kant and Deleuze. But I will definitely look into Hume thank you.

something I recommend is to try and do a lighter survey of the whole field, buy something like this:
https://broadviewpress.com/product/the-broadview-anthology-of-social-and-political-thought/?ph=052216213796b53102946d02#tab-description
which has excerpts from important works through the history of social/political philosophy (including Kant). once you have a better foothold on what philosophy 'looks like', so to speak, it's a lot easier to know where your interests lie, and what your strengths/weaknesses are. then go back and dive into what you need to dive into.

Ever since I saw this a week ago or so I've been meaning to do some drugs and rewatch it. I know a lot of people have said the editing is annoying but I actually like how harsh it is and I can still understand what Land is saying, at least audibly.

for real though, i saw LTJ Bukem perform recently and there was not a single amen break in his entire set. it was all lukewarm 'chill' modern dnb. a complete disappointment. should have known better though, dnb died with Ed Rush & Optical (who are great, but they defined the last creative push of the genre)

Good shit. Is the whole last part about the theatre and unknowingly staging plays a description of Kant? I've never read him.
