The really great thing about IMDB is that it divides user ratings into US and non-US ratings, making it useful for both people with actual taste and vulgar americans, the high-fructose corn syrup of people. Until we get a list that, unlike this one, is not made entirely by american undergraduate students between the ages of 18-21 (seriously, Infinite Jest at 3) who've read 25-50 books in their entire lives, these lists will be useless to everyone else, and a testament of shame to /lit/ in general.

This is a really neat feature. Tarkovsky generally scores 0.5 points lower in US ratings, whereas DC capemovies are generally 0.5 points higher.

I was there when it was made and a lot of the ones deleted were stuff like winnie the pooh that was spammed a million times and culture of critique for the same reason. The guy doing it was really unbiased throughout.
