>30 americans in the top 100
>Infinite fucking Jest the third best book
>genre fiction on a list that omits Balzac, Zola, Stendhal, Strindberg, Turgenev

The really great thing about IMDB is that it divides user ratings into US and non-US ratings, making it useful for both people with actual taste and vulgar americans, the high-fructose corn syrup of people. Until we get a list that, unlike this one, is not made entirely by american undergraduate students between the ages of 18-21 (seriously, Infinite Jest at 3) who've read 25-50 books in their entire lives, these lists will be useless to everyone else, and a testament of shame to /lit/ in general.

This is a really neat feature. Tarkovsky generally scores 0.5 points lower in US ratings, whereas DC capemovies are generally 0.5 points higher.

Well the survey data is linked right in the image so you can check what wasn't counted. I was there when it was made and a lot of the ones deleted were stuff like winnie the pooh that was spammed a million times and culture of critique for the same reason. The guy doing it was really unbiased throughout.
