Buy uptrending items for 1.5% lower than the market price and sell at 1.5% higher. Buy downtrending items for 3.5% lower and sell at 1.5% lower than the market price. Always test and if the offer is fulfilled within 5 mins, then it's a go. Remember- the market in GE is obfuscated so that you can use it to your advantage for high priced and low volume items such as third-age. I've made millions per third-age flips during merch clan buy outs. Be smart and you'll make money ez.

The easiest way to make money is by flipping. Whats great about GE is that there are literally no fees like in other games, so flipping is super worth it

Items with high margins. From my experience any type of high level gear like weapons and armour is good

You'll hit GE limits (the amount of items that you can buy per 4 hours). Rs wiki have list of GE limits. Generally, items with low ge limit is less liquid than items with high ge, so you want to flip the items with low ge limits that maximizes the amount of your current gold before you move onto the higher ge limit items as you finish your flips for every 4 hours cycle.
Ex: ags -> d pick -> furies

From my experience, 2% margin is good as it gets if you want to be efficient and exploit the constant volatility that is hidden in GE. But for the third-age like liquidity, I suggest trying to tack on 5-10% margins so that you will exploit the idiotic merch clans.

I get accused of being a bondie becuase I bought gold bars en masse from the GE, then crafted them into gold bracelets and sold them for double the money, leading to good profit and easy crafting xp. It takes a while, but it's a good way to level crafting and stretch an investment of like 50k into like 4m
