I actually really dig his prose. He seems like a wholesome and genuine guy. Definitely enjoyed Island more than BNW, though. I remember putting down the book and being genuinely frustrated that Pala wasn't an actual place.

It was pretty good, but I feel some ideas were poorly thought-out. One example that I can think is the island where they put a whole group that were conditioned to want leadership positions, the leader of the civilized world uses this as a justification even when it's obvious that the problem would not happened if the conditioning in those individuals were different.
