Roughly a year ago, there was a thread about some random lit topic in which the OP used that pic as the thread image.

One of the first replies was "bugs... easy on the carrots" which is pretty funny, but was even funnier in the context of ignoring the purpose of the thread to instead make a quip about the image.

The rest of the thread became people responding to that comment & then it became a /lit/ meme
