Due to certain life circumstances I will be living in a remote part of the world where internet is expensive to use.

During this time, I will be isolated from people and conveniences of modern life. I will not be bringing electronic equipment other than music player and satellite telephone.

I hope to spend this time reading books that will expand my mind, spirit and strengthen my thinking process and improvingn way I view the world. I do not know how long I wil be gone for so I would like to have literature that views from many different angles.

Sorry for the bad english it is not my first language

Thank you /lit/

Why so secretive?
Tell us what kind of books you like to read atleast..

I'd say read the classics, they are usually long and will keep you entertained. Start with Moby Dick, maybe Crime and Punishment, etc etc.

I am very intersted in both ancient and modern philosophy as well as books that allow self reflection without limiting ones viewpoints to black and white. Sorry for not specifying.

All reactionary literature is anti-Overman
for the Overman always acts, never reacts
He embraces the challenges of the future

Yes, read a bunch of disjointed shit to form your opinions, most of which is either biased or lacks any archaeological evidence to speak of and thus contradicts reality.
>>11574843
No such thing. Books won't really expand your mind if you aren't interested to begin with. There are plenty of brainlets that read Plato and Aristotle and have no idea what to get out of it.
But if you're serious, I recommend pirating the Cambridge history collection off of TPB. It's like 10 gigs and they have a wealth of information on different histories. The political one is especially good, and far better than what that idiot I quoted above recommended someone should do, as it's packed with all sorts of findings and different quoted material to give you a full perspective.
Here's a book I like that doesn't get enough love
>Mimesis: The Representation of Reality in Western Literature

>>11576472
Evola and Spengler were both Nietzscheans. Take this line from Ride the Tiger for instance, "Neither pleasure nor pain must enter as motivation when one must do what needs to be done." It doesn't get much more Overman than that in lit.
>>11574843
Another Evola suggestion to throw out there is The Doctrine of Awakening. To supplement your understanding of Buddhism, I also recommend Bhikkhu Bodhi's translations of various texts from the Pali Canon.
