I don't want to be a best of burden, /lit/.
I'll either get educated or go Varg mode.
What books would you reccomend for a beginner trying to understand the world?

Read Aristotle, then Hume, then Kant.
Once you’ve read and understood what they were saying, independantly study mathematics and take notes on political discussions and compare that to current economic events.

Read Levenda's Sinister Forces Trilogy and Hitler Legacy.

Once you do that, go read Roberto Unger's Politics trilogy.

Building up an understanding on how the world works is best suited at how well you’re able to build new framework outside of your area of immediate cognitive awareness. You have to get there on your own.

If you're reading something and make an extraneous connection to something else, take note of it and try to distinguish why the connection was made.

Then, seek out information regarding that connection to see how things overlap. I'm saying this with respect to reality. If you read a sentence and it reminds you of a time you went to a theme park, break down all the aspects of the context to try to decode why this might have been the case. Gets easier with practice. Helps in decoding current events.
