What books dull the pain

>> No.11553498

all of them, but i'd recommend determining what causes your exact pain and then finding a solution to it outside of books. Books are a form of escapism, and though they are fairly healthy, you'd be better off nipping your issues at the bud. Up to you desu. Hope everything works itself out.

Science discovers the physiological value of continence.

You'll learn that habitual release is to blame for your malaise. If you abate, happiness, true joy and not ephemeral pleasure, is to be found.
I wish you luck. It is more difficult than cutting a drug addiction.

Why would you dull the pain, instead of curing the source of it? Books may help but don't expect them to magically make the pain disappear forever (unless it's about a specific problem you have). Also what kind of pain, OP? Anyways what I usually do is sit with it, preferably in a dark and silent room (which I do anyways most of the time if I'm not particularly doing something). Then naturally something within me compels me to act, after thinking about it and not thinking about it. You can call that instinct or whatever it is. Other option is just face/force it. I avoid all distractions, whether that be media, any entertainment, books, porn, etc.. (which I don't do anyways) during that time too.
I went way off track, but this post is for me and what I do. You'll find your way if you're honest, sincere and truthful with yourself. Don't feel forced or compelled to act cuz of my post. Peace faggot.

Forgot that when I'm not silent I also write and speak to myself alone. Often when I speak and articulate the thoughts, I notice that it's nonsense/trivial and it disappears or some variation thereof u get it. I'm probably forgetting stuiff here and there but Il post more if u want
