i met ben shapiro in real life once. I remember the night like it was yesterday--I was at Red Lobster with my wife, both of us bibbed up because you know we were going to town on that crab like it was a russian model's fartbox.

So anyways, there we are, ravenously eating crab meat, and we hear the wait staff come out singing a birthday song. They don't sing "Happy Birthday" due to copyright reasons, but rather a kitschy crustacean-take on the classic, with lyrics that went something like, "Happy happy birthday, we are here to say, happy happy birthday, let's eat crab all day!" Ridiculous to type out but that's what they sang.

Anyways I look over my wife's speckled shoulder and see the table they're crowded around, and who else but him! Ben Shapiro, ravenously eating oysters by the handful. I shit you not, this guy was throwing them into his mouth with the shell included, two at a time, just munching away. The wait staff's song sort of trailed off when they saw him going to town, and he just kept on going and going, at this point having gone through double digit oysters.

People seriously started getting concerned--the whole restaurant was quiet except for the sound of Shapiro crushing through oyster shell with his teeth. The wait staff started pleading with him, "Ben, hey, please stop, you're hurting yourself. Ben your gums are bleeding." He kept chugging through them though, face red with determination now. He ended up finishing all the oysters and excusing himself to the bathroom where he let his balls flap around in the dyson wind fan in order to evaporate his ball sweat
