Wtf /lit/? You told me this sucked.but after finishing & re-reading most of it, I can honestly say it's among the best modern epic fantasy out there. Yeah it's lengthy but if anyone who can sit through the innumerable pages of utter tripe that is ASoIaF could get through this.

FYI Worldcon drama unfolding as we speak.
Email sent out "misgendered" a nominated fan writer as he when his pronoun is "em."
Side drama about too many white people on panels and a comment about how the people attending the conference don't know who most of the nominees are.
People dropping out and demanding refunds.
