some last minute editing on the sheaf of poems ill be sending out this summer and trying finish up a complicated poem about psychoanalysis I've been working on for two month's now.

That poem is a real mess now. 50 pages of rewriting the same 8 stanzas while trying to maintain a conversational tone ...god, now all i can see are it's flaws (wrong stanza from, over reliance on analytical gobbledygook, a risky opening statement) .

it's exactly the kind of poem no one publishes anymore .

I've been writing a bunch of poems about traveling. The basic gist of them is that the narrator is wandering through all sorts of landscapes: through fancy parties, through mountain ranges, through big cities, along the ocean, etc.. He has different encounters and observations as he goes. The poems are somewhat deliberately esoteric, and invite interpretation.

I'm hoping to write about 25 of them and collect them into a chapbook, then try to publish it. I've gotten a few of the individual poems published already, so hopefully that will help. I have 16 so far.
