Just... not bad. I can't really say much else about this not-stack spread.

Do you know how many fucking book stores I went to to try and find these 5 specific novels?
I’ve driven close to 200 miles total the last couple days trying to find them. No store has these, new or used. I had to order them on Amazon, who then delivered in less than 24 hours. I wasted so much time.

It would seem you're developing it, haven't thoroughly refined it yet. Look for the John Marks translation of "Journey to the End of the Night." Manheim is fine for the rest of Celine's catalogue, but Mark's "Journey," is a much drier, sober read while Manheim's is saucier, crass, sensational.

Modest Proposal is important to read just because it's so widely referenced, but it's well worth getting balls-deep in Swift no matter what your literary interests are.

My copy is about 50 pages and it's got other chapters too about famine in Ireland. I assumed the other chapters were also a part of A Modest Proposal.
