Literally the last five Artemis Fowl books.
Read the first two when I was a kid and decided to finish the series now that they're supposed to be making a movie of it.
They weren't bad, though they went heavily into time travel as a cornerstone of the series, which I'm never a big fan of.
Time Travel always gets so convoluted.

Personally i really like his books but i am an avid fan of science fiction. If you can get passed his sometimes tedious prose then he has some very neat ideas.

If you do plan on reading his foundation series then i dont suggest reading Prelude to Foundation first. It dissects the origins of a paragon that the novels constantly refers to, essentially humanizing him. Read it after you finish the main foundation novels

What's the point of writing your age in these threads? Is it because /lit/ considers some books as entry level, and they're fine to read maybe if you're in highschool and you're only getting out of that phase when you only read YA and fantasy books, but after that you should read more serious or "patrician" books? Or is it entirely pointless, like writing your MBTI type or zodiac sign?

They're definitely something I'm glad I've read, but I need some more experience to fully appreciate. Knowing a few Romance languages and a tiny bit of Greek, it was easier, but I have a lot of time to mature, both as a person and a poet, and only then will I find the Cantos something I've "read."
