What books will motivate me to be a better man? Like the motivational quote picture threads we've been having, but for actual literature.

Pic related, the Stoics are great for this and the "get the fuck out of bed" passage from Meditations is exactly the kind of thing I want more of.

I haven't found a good book on manners yet that was mind blowing but it clearly is. You rarely find a person with clever manners and not that pleb open the door mindless drivel. Someone came up with that and the context of them doing it is more interesting than the stupid gaggle of democratic fucks who follow and leech off anyone's ingenuity. The aristocratic class was filled with the latter ingenuity so I'd check there.
