How do I, a pleb who has lived his entire life as a filthy modern materialist, reconnect with the Sacred?
Is it something achievable through study and contemplation, or is it a futile effort at this point?

By logging onto reddit.org, getting into meditation, and fantasising over your mother like the pasty white faggot you are

The sacred is a literal LARP by those who can't accept the reality

Speaking from a traditionalist point of view, you are way better off than me.

Before I found René Guénon, and especially his works such as "Theosophy: History of a Pseudo-Religion" or "Initiation and Spiritual Realization" I dabbled with much of what would be called "Neo-Spirituality" or Pseudo-Religion in general

Beware the New-Age stuff. Stick to actual religious traditions if you want authenticity.
