Which read first?

>Bible
>Qur'an

?

I am expecting one to roughly stem from the other. So looking to see which is the "original".

Technically, if you're not reading the Qu'ran in Arabic, you're not reading the Qu'ran at all.

>Translation of the Quran has always been a problematic and difficult issue in Islamic theology. Since Muslims revere the Qur'an as miraculous and inimitable (i'jaz al-Qur'an), they argue that the Qur'anic text can not be reproduced in another language or form. Furthermore, an Arabic word may have a range of meanings depending on the context, making an accurate translation even more difficult.

hyper-technically, if you're not an Arab reading the original text in Arabic, you're not reading the Koran.

read them in chronological order; bible first, book full of stolen shit and hate next

Pretty impressive, there was so many people there.

The cool thing was when I was just sitting on the grass reading by myself a mother with two young children asked me if I wanted to sit with them while it was on and I stuck with them the rest of the day.

The Pope a lovely singer as well, that's on top of being a great intellectual.

Actually if you'd read them both you'd know that the Koran is full of much more violence than any other holy book. Mohammed was a war-lord who says infidels cannot unto the kingdom of God. Jesus says everyone is loved by God & was a peaceful man.

You might be persuaded by them & it's useful to know. For example I'm probably "left-wing" on more issues than not but I'm totally against the effect Islam has upon states of the world (Islamic states are practically still living in the dark ages).

A God that wants humans to convert by reading clearly doesn't understand humans.

Also the Koran has some beautiful metaphors & an almost self-conscious style that would only then by used by Avant-garde writers centuries later.
