>> No.11260950

So far? Some of Book 7 of Pappus' Collection. Gonna take me a little while to finish this one up.

I got Chapter 9 of The General Theory by Keynes coming up, pretty quick one, then a couple articles by Hamilton/Madison, then I'll probably read a fair amount by Proclus regarding the first book of Euclid.

Will to Power book 3

>> No.11261522

>>11261483
I was reading Will To Power book 2. His history of nihilism is of course outdated (how could it not be?) and to say the least, not comprehensive; so i felt a little bored with it, like arguing against German Idealism is just tilting at windmills; a few gems here and there of course, but ultimately left me feeling flat, because he just kept grinding his axe. Decided to switch to Kerouac's Some of the Dharma (his Buddhist studies notebooks), pretty informative but completely without a system, probably unhelpful to anyone genuinely interested in the subject and again, more apathy followed. The past weekend i spent drinking and masturbating so i think i am just drained. I feel like embarking on a new attempt at self-discipline but creeping depression dunks my head into murky waters and makes my body ache. Realised that the feeling of fulfilment is as fleeting as heroin bliss, where to go from here?
