Hey, I have a really normie taste in books because I've only read "the classics"

What books should I read next?

My favorites are

Kurt Vonnegut - Breakfast Of Champions
J.D. Salinger - Catcher In The Rye
Ernest Hemingway - The Old Man and The Sea

Those are good books, though, anon. It'd be easier to give you recs if you explained what it is that you like about those works.

I really love Vonnegut's writing style. I love his use of being very direct in word choice, but having his stories be very deep as a whole.

Catcher in the Rye just had so much symbolism I adored it, and just like every teenager ever i related to Holden's problems

And the old man and the sea was just so brilliantly written Imo
