Most philosophy are written by people who knew nothing about science and biology. They thought they knew the truth, inventing "the soul", the laughable ways they thought the human mind worked. Nothing but ignorance.

The funny thing is, modern people eat them up like they're some kind of mysterious knowledge and worship what's essentially just farmers' fantasies.

Humans look for comfort in their attachment as a means to sustain biological survival. For some people, in the modern society, the obsession is no longer about food or deities but a dream of becoming intellectuals scratching "meaning" from what's made by the past's ignorance.

How can a rational person not see the emptiness of those words, the dignified "ancient wisdom" to sustain the fools who, too, do nothing but fantasize for self-comfort and know nothing about that true wisdom must be supported by knowledge.

Few can explain the bitter depth of old philosophy and it's often only their own wishful thinking. Yet many still dream to reach some kind of awakening with those backward thoughts made by ignorant farmers.

/lit/ is one of the most reddit board on 4chan. You can see by how the average modern men struggle with meaning and try to see things where there's none.

Models of knowledge made by pure imagination are prone to mistakes.
They did not even know how their minds worked. They did not know why the birds fly, why the rivers run, not even why there's night and day. They could imagine that the world lies on a turtle's back there was no one to refute them.

>>11236022
Human nature has everything to do with science since behind every inclination of your thought there's a evolutionary purpose.

People thought that emotions mattered, or in fact, mattered the most. Now we learn that emotions are fictional, empty, and mostly false alarms. It is crucial to the human progress that we rule out the unintened effects of negative emotions, such as the desire to revenge. Men's tribal nature is an enemy to civilization.

Also, politics is already very close to science, isn't it.

It's nice that you want to make it easier for your parents, but it shouldn't bother you if you don't. Motherly love should expect nothing in return. Otherwise (because most parents aren't like that), it's a shit environment and you should get your ass out of there. Become your own man. There's no doubt that the majority of human emotions do, however, which I pointed out clearly.

The few people who replied to me seemed to have had some strong desires for validation. The public display of disgust and that competitive state of mind played a crucial part in the evolutionary process as they can serve as a danger alarm for the tribe and showing reproductive advantage.

The violent reaction to the menace of different ideas helped to maintain culture and the tribe's identity and unity. That's the very reason why people don't seem to be polite.

Trying to establish a common enemy, an anime-watching boogeyman, gives hope for unity and the comfort thereof. Despite them not really knowing anything about anime.

Again, I can't expect rationality from these people. Dialectics is mostly just a pseud scientific model which has little reason to exist in today's world. If it actually worked in anyway we wouldn't have had the mess in China and the USSR.

Well, people have to worship something nonetheless. From these little experiences on /lit/ I'm sort of convinced that those who can actually draw pleasure from reading in today's world are actually not very intelligent.

4chan is an anime website and the fact that you redditor newfags even have the audacity to talk shit about anime shows a lot. Go to some other boards and watch how people see the likes of you as absolutely cringy.

I only mentioned those obviously off-topic and personal attacks directed at me because I wanted to share the person I replied to some knowledge. I wouldn't've cared if it wasn't for him. Any object of jouissance is prone to entropic degradation, both subjective and objective, as they act in synthesis. The inevitable process of degradation and simultaneous want of jouissance for itself as an abstract object which begins to lack a permanent form to embody and emanate from; in subjective synthesis- makes the entire process unsatisfactory. Thus fun things are ultimately not fun things.

It's a hopeless effort to have philosophical conversations with most people you meet irl and it's rare ( or at least where I am) to have someone to talk about philosophy with. Not to mention most people are set in stone about their beliefs and can easily be quick to anger, maybe because you are seen as attacking their world view. On here however these people are usually ignored, laughed at or called out as bait. On 4chan people usually go when they have something in common to discuss making it much easier compared to finding people like this irl.
