I have had terrible troubling attempting to talk to my friends about illiberal ideals in general. When I speak of Nietzsche, they seem to have been to fully inundated in the egalitarian impulse of today, they cannot comprehend what attracts men of the past,(and the few remaining true men of today) to gaining power, upholding hierarchy and being strong. When I explain the fruition of their ideals,( i.e. Enlightenment thought), and how these liberal ideals are violently rejected throughout the world and how they are incongruent with a powerful culture, they simply revert to saying "that was a long time ago" and "we are progressing bro". Yet all I see is degeneration.

How does one connect ideals of power to a society so bereft of will? Or is this a futile urge?

Philosophy never has and never will be communicable to the disengaged masses. Stop wasting your time and go read more.

your friends disagree with you, and you are unable to come to terms with the notion of disagreement. All your monkey brain comprehends is "they wrong, me right"

I wanna become the living synthesis of Gabriele D'Annunzio, Nietzsche, Charles Manson, Guy Debord, Foucault, Junger, Mishima, Nick Land, Eduard Limonov, Sam Hyde, Kanye and Mao. I wanna storm the pentagon completely naked armed only with a Katana and die of AIDS, Syphilis and liver disease at age 33

Cringe overload.
You just have shit friends. I talk plenty of non-liberal philosophy (Nietzsche, Heidegger, Adorno) with my liberal friends.
