Londonfrog, I know you don't care about advice, in fact I think you might see people giving it as a way to feel better about themselves - but man you are way too self-involved, how long do you reckon you've had these thoughts (and thoughts about your own thoughts)?

The Idiot is a great book, I started and gave up a couple of times but when I reached page 100 I was enjoying it immensely. I wish I was still as pure as Myshkin.

OP here. I've seen enough Staceys to be extremely demoralised now. I walked through a university area where I saw confirmation that Chad and Stacey always win and my youth was wasted.

I have no good ideas about what to do. I could go home now without having had coffee, which would be a plus. I could go to Shoreditch to see peak Chad and Stacey to drive home to myself the hopelessness of "just going outside bro!"

why would you ever wake up at 9am if you're a NEET, especially if you don't live with parents. When I was on my own during my brief post undergrad NEET phase I'd wake up at like 1 or 2pm at least. You want to minimize time spent in daylight if you're this way.

I'm not a NEET. I have a job that miraculously requires almost no work.

I haven't had coffee and I am currently going straight back home. This was such a demoralising time outside.

go walk around an industrial area. No stacies or chads in sight. used to do it all the time as a NEET. See if you can break into interesting abandoned factories or dock areas, good times.

why don't you go check out the Battersea power station OP? I'd do that if I was in London instead of the states.
