Most of them try their damndest to be, though. You ever see how hard they try to act like him and mimic his speech patterns? It's bizarre. Here's an example: https://twitter.com/momo_depressed/status/998798301188251648

It's a relief he's becoming less autistic and more normalized in his language use so this kind of shit may stop.

You don't know what you're talking about. The guy used a lot o adjectives (as does Tao sometimes) but the style is there. It's a sort of detachment/sterilization of language meant to look precise. Probably derivative of someone like Lydia Davis. https://twitter.com/tao_lin/status/937472849727537152?s=20

What have you read? Do you read often?
Assuming nothing and never, the best way to go is to read something easy and work your way up to the big ones.
If you have any movies you love that are based on books that are literary in nature, read those first. Having the outline in your head already will make it easier.
Realise that some books are just plain harder than others, reading is a skill like any other, one that you have to train. the more books you have under your belt, the better time you will have.
If you want to get a /lit/ meme done read infinite jest, along with a guide like 'elegant complexity' the only difficult part is the length. It should give you a confidence boost.

>Age 24

You probably should've read the Odyssey, the Iliad, the Aenieds, the complete works of Plato, Socrates and Aristotle, the works of at least five Church Fathers, the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads, the entire Pali Canon, the Dao De Jing and Zhuangzi, the complete Summa Theologica, the Divine Comedy, the complete works of Shakespeare, Paradise Lost, Leviathan, Critique of Pure Reason, Fear and Trembling, Moby Dick, the entirety of Charles Dickens, Walden, and at least two major works each by Hegel, Schopenhauer, Marx, Stirner, Nietzsche, Heidegger, Russel, Sartre, Derrida, and Foucault.

**OR** you could stop being a massive faggot and not base your self-worth over how many philosophical ramblings of autists you've read, and only read if it's something you truly derive fulfilment out of. Your choice.

Fuck man, with those numbers, you're going to have to turn to selling drugs to get both the time and money to maintain a constant reading lifestyle.

It's okay though, if you read 18 hours a day and ignore all other responsibilities (I put out a eulogy of myself in the newspaper, that sure got people off my back) you SHOULD be able to manage 30,000 books by age 30.

Good luck.
