What does /lit/ think of this book?

And can you recommend any books that have changed the way you view life?

It's okay, but it's not nearly as good as teens - or as "nerdfighters" - make it out to be. Again, it's pretty good. One of the better contemporary young-adult books, and John Green's best.

Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse
The Razor's Edge by W. Somerset Maugham
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain*
The Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut*

*Probably wouldn't have changed my life if I wasn't a sophomore in high school... which you likely are.

College, actually. Just kept hearing a lot of buzz about the book from an acquaintance of mine that just read it.

Oh, alright. Good. Hopefully you're well-read enough to have it in perspective. I'm tired of all the 12-year-olds who think their geniuses because they're "nerdfighters" and then read nothing but YA literature, and think it's brilliant.
