If I don't get married by 40, I unironically will become a priest.
I'd much prefer to have a family and work as in a professional capacity in my intended career field. After 40, you just can't find any good prospects.

I hate, intensely hated, men I've known who hadn't settled down by then in life, burning through yet another girlfriend. Yet, most people view singleness at that age even worse, either will assume you are gay or ever increasingly, as an "incel".
I'd rather still be respectable, someone that people are not looking at with disdain.

after that toronto asshole now one cant even be a nerd who never gets laid, now people who can't get laid are all potential terrorists worse than al-qaeda, as if im choosing not to get laid, as if people who are INcel are choosing not to get laid, luckily i fucked this chick at my work a couple years back and everyone heard about it through gossip so i'm safe for now but if i ever switch jobs im screwed when i dont have anyone to bring to bullshit parties and social events, ill have to flirt with whoever is the office gay guy just to keep the incel suspicion off

I quit smoking pot again after a two week wake n bake 24/7 stoned binge

I always get withdrawals from pot, which include but are not limited to unchecked anger (usually i am quite calm), nauseau/anxiety, speedy, lack of motivation, really mean to other people, restless/insomnia, when i do sleep i get nightmares guaranteed throughout the whole night, no appetite, and serious cravings to smoke again

I am a cold turkey person. Aint my first rodeo, neither the last. Hardest addiction to quit was cutting myself when i was young (i cut for years, all over arms legs hip etc)

Most unique addiction was a dissociative called 3meopcp

Oddly enough cigarettes and alcohol were the easiest to quit for me. I still drink once every few weeks but cigarettes have zero appeal now

I'm an extremely slow reader. One page can take me anywhere from a minute to ten to read.
I gave up going to med school to study English, and deep down I know it was a stupid decision to make.
I also keep tossing ideas in my head, but seldom do I actually sit down and write anything. The last thing I wrote was a short story for a contest, about two or three months ago. Still waiting for the outcome, mainly to see if I'm a shit writer or not.

It's never too late if you are unmarried, a good person, and member of the Roman Catholic Church. It requires essentially a master's degree, a 3 year post graduate seminary funded by the Church.
It's not a bad gig all things considered. Free home with all expenses paid for, 3 paid meals a day, and a 30k year (untaxed?) salary, 500 month toward vehicle.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it as a fallback plan in life. It's better than being a NEET or disability collector.
