So /lit/,

I've been reading Frankenstein.

I just wanted to say that the Creature's telling of its story and how it grew to hate mankind was one of the most moving things I've ever read.

Your opinions on the book, /lit/?

Victor hates his family on a subconscious level for letting him read books on alchemy as a child.

It's why he avoids them so much, using his work as an excuse, and why he stupidly doesn't realize that the Creature was actually threatening to kill Elizabeth on his wedding night. He secretly wanted her dead.

Though they discouraged him from reading them; he was stubborn enough to anyway.
