I had a lot of fun reading it when I was 13, which I assume is the age that rick and morty is for. The book is upfront about being silly and never tries to pretend toward anything greater than what it is so I can't really hate on it despite having moved on.

>> No.11139480

No, this book has a wholesome tone and message. It's antithetical to Rick and morty.

Its a really good read if you're into the humor. The fanbase is childish and obnoxious though. If you can ignore the latter (which should honestly be easier than with R&M) then just enjoy the thing for what it is.

Well, R&M is a good show.
Not as good as the Guide tho, they're not that similar.

I've been told I write like "a gay Douglas Adams".
You can imagine the amount of pain it caused me.

The gay part is the painful part, I'm sure.

>> No.11142114

It's a book (series) that's sorta funny, sorta clever, sorta entertaining, and for some it's quite nostalgic. If it's none of these things to you, it makes little difference. There's not much else to say. To let your impulse to hate on leddit r&m fags by proxy cloud your judgment speaks to your emotional immaturity.

Yeah, but they save the idiot humans life instead of analyzing the meaning of life from the mice
