A call to the Sikhs of 4chan... If any should happen to exist.

I've been hit with an insatiable interest in this religion, and am looking for literature with which I can educate myself about its teachings and history. My local bookstore only had a Hindu section, so I'm turning to you guys to suggest what I should get. Also I don't know any Punjabi, so only translated works please.

OP just read about it on wikipedia to familiarize yourself then buy some of the texts to read, by Guru Nanak et al, and then look into buying analytical texts.

I think a simple google search of "important Sikh texts" could be far more helpful than we.

I have a wonderful "Encyclopedia of World Religions." That is absolutely filled with cool information. That may be something for you to get :)
