I think it is pretty excellent.

1. it will prompt a series of Nobel Prizes given to African female writers, thus undermining the Academy's credibility even more;
2. it will make the literary establishment even more afraid than it currently is, thus helping to ruin it faster;
and 3. it will give more coverage to other prizes, all of which are much better than the Nobel.

The guy that were all touchy feely with literally everyone is the wife of one of the academy members. She apparently told him about the prize winners in advance and he've leaked at least seven of them. He was also running some kind of pretentious club, funded by the academy.
